M.E.S.A. 2013
April 27, 2013 -- 23 of our Elementary MESA students participated in the 2013 Elementary MESA Day. Students competed in math, tongue depressor bridge, tetrahedron kite, naked egg drop, water bottle rocket, and model rocket competitions! Our students had a great time with their competitions and the days activities. Our very own Bianca R took home third place in the 1st grade math competition! Congratulations Biana and everyone who participated!
January 26, 2013 -- Ten Elkhorn Elementary MESA students took part in the 2013 Elementary MESA Math Competiton. The competition involved individual math and team math. Our school was represented by one 1st grade student, four 4th grade students, one 5th grade student, and four 6th graders! Bryan B, one of our 6th grade students placed in 3rd place! Congratulations to Bryan and everyone that participated!
